Hey Guys, it’s been way too long since we posted some news up, so I’m just going to let you know what has been going on in the world of Hex. As you might know we exhibited in Free Play, an Indie Games Festival in Melbourne where people got to play a very early demo of SiA. And since Free Play we took all that valuable feed back we got from the players and took it into consideration in our later builds. We at Hex have been lucky enough to get a few interviews and and a write up of SiA published.

Here is the interview that was taken by the guys at www.makingstuffisfun.com

And this is the write up we got in PC POWERPLAY ISSUE #183 Page 41. (Please keep in mind that this write up was written for the build we showed at Free Play)

“A still -in-progress RMIT student project, Strength in Arms is a fantasy-themed co-op platformer. Everyone has grappling hooks, which can be used to traverse the scenery or piggy-back on other players, leading to lots of ludicrous, physics-based fun. The dynamic, four-player split-screen means that players can stick together or wander off on their own. The controls need a bit of fine-tuning, but it has a lot character.”

There was a couple of screen shots of the game and a couple of photos of the team on pages 38-41.

We also had our final presentation at university which went extraordinarily well. And we are proud to announce that we are no longer a student group project and that we are now independently working on SiA. Here's the trailer from the presentation:

We will try to make the updates more regularly from now on. Once again thanks for the interest, it means a lot to us.
