Important news about demo version of our project.

Posted by on

Hello! We have some important news for you. The first one is definitely good - the demo version of "Prisoner of Fate" is ready and in closed beta testing right now!

And now the second. During the development process we were faced with many problems and in the end we decided to transfer the demo version on the Amnesia's (HPL2) engine . The transition to an earlier version of the engine went without severe problems, and you can fully enjoy the game!

You can download a demo version in the mods section to Amnesia, as soon as it comes out.

As for the full version of the modification - we have not yet abandoned the idea of using the Soma's (HPL3) engine and we will seek solution.

Glad the demo is near but can you explain in more detail what problems caused you to switch to HPL2? I was thinking using HPL 3 to make a mod and would like to know of any problem before i start doing that.

For example, we can't make amnesia's like monsters and other gameplay mechanics, like fully functional inventory.

I'm a bit disappointed. You could get lots of help from our best programmers in the HPL3 community that could easily bring back the penumbra mechanics. Heck, even I could make it for you with some help if you wanted.
Sorry for the rant, but please contant me for more infomation if you want to make your mod work with HPL3.
