OK, I just put up v 1.45 Release Candidate 1 on the downloads section of the website. This release has two jobs:
1. It brings v1.4 up to the most current version of bot AI
2. It introduces the new content we have been working hard to perfect
For those who haven't followed our progress over the last month or so, 'new content' includes two powerfull new areas, not included in previous releases
a ) missions (rescue the hostage demo in this release) with several new features.
b ) The art of lin kuei (aka ninja) weapon choice, this allows you to enact the part of a ninja in your favourite action movie, chopping, slicing, deflecting etc. A must have, even for those who havn't played AQ2 in a while.
As part of this release, I want to take the opportunity to set up a clan "Clan of the Marauding ninjas" whos job it is to uphold the name of ninja. For this, I will need a clan leader, and of course some members. It will be your responsability to maintain a clan server, arrange matches etc, but I will provide web hosting/forum access on the main ltktbm website along with any alterations to the code to fit your needs. If you are interested, drop me a msg, either here/by email or the ltktbm forums and I will get onto setting it all up. Theres been quite a bit of interest in the new AQ2 weapon, so I hope this will help progress it (along with your AQ2 experience).
As a ninja (picked from the team weapon selection menu) you get a nice ninja sword, 10 throwing knifes and a pistol with limited ammo. along with your own ninja skin and model defined in action.ini.
