Black Horizon is an alternate time line where the Sol Jumpgate is reopened and the shivans have returned. Weapons and ships are limited due to the Terran - Vasudan treaty and the peace that reigned prior to the Shivans return. In addition to the Shivans, a new threat arises, Black Horizon, to challenge the GTVA.
This is a campaign originally written by Jason "Ryoko" Wollenberg for Descent Free Space in 1999.
Testing is still proceeding on Black Horizon Episode 1 - Phantom Slayer.
We've started on restoration of Black Horizon Episode 2 - The Birth of a Nightmare. The initial conversion from FS1 has been completed and restoration work is in progress.
I've successfully tested Episode 1 and also took note of the changes I should make to the campaign. The first upgrade of Episode 1 should be available for the FSCRP Team to test in a matter of days.
I'd also like to say that freespaceking is working on the maps used for Black Horizon spacecraft. Giving FSK's skills and reliability, the results are going to be encouraging.
