Action Half-Life is a movie style based game that puts you in the place of an actor in line to do that big action scene. AHL gives you big movie style dives, front flips, jump kicks, punches and also allows you to become an expert knife thrower, and that is just the beginning.

Yeah it is steam, from what I was told from the AHL team it was optimized for steam. But not 100% I talk to so many mod teams ;p. But hey steam is 100% better then when Steam started. I hated it too when it first came out but now I like it.
