Here i'll talk about stuff that will most likely end up in 2.0

Alright, so in this news segment, i'm gonna talk about alot of things about 2.0. I'm gonna explain alot of the things that you'll be seeing as a new or an experienced CoD4 player.

1. Killstreaks

Killstreaks will work the same way as they do in Modern Warfare 3. You'll select up 3 killstreaks (You get the MOAB added for free) per class. For example:Class 1: Assault package. UAV, Carepackage, and Precision Airstrike.Class 2: Support package: UAV, Ammo Crate and Advanced UAV.And so on.

2. Playercards

Playercards are a thing, yeah. You'll see them every time you kill an enemy, or every time you get killed by an enemy. Just like in MW2 or MW3, you'll be able to select a player emblem and a callingcard from a quite medium list. Also, both me and 3aGl3 will have our own little playercard settings which nobody else can get. So if you see someone named for example "MA85" (^1M^2A^38^45) with a custom playercard you've never seen, then that's me.

3. Menu

There's a brand new menu in Combined Operations 2.0. It's alot like the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive menu, and IMO it's pretty damn nice. It's WIP at the moment, but it's gonna turn out pretty damn nice.

4. Weapons

Course there's gonna be brand new weapons. Alot of the weapons are from Ghosts, or MW3 mostly. You'll have a complete list of the weapons in the mod's description.

5. Maps

Well, alot of the maps in CoD4 are NOT gonna be supported with 2.0 of CO. All of it is due to the model limit being reached. Now we have already put in ALL the models we need so we don't have to worry about that. So we'll be testing all the maps and see if they're supported by CO. All maps not supported by CO 2.0 will be listed in the description of the mod at the very end.Also, we'll be having MORE maps because of this. Because there are maps that aren't supported in the mod, means that there's no reason to keep them with waypoints in PeZBOT, right? This means that it's possible to add MORE maps with waypoints. This means more maps for YOU to enjoy with PeZBOTs offline!

6. DEV stuff and how to identify us

As said, there are multiple ways of identifying either me or 3aGl3. Here are some ways:1. Running around with a custom playermodel2. Running with the Ripper3. Running with a custom gun loadout not possible, example 3 guns (Ripper, MP412 and Combat Knife i usually run)4. Having a custom playercard with custom calling cards + emblem.

7. Challenges and rewards

So in 2.0 of CO, there's gonna be ALOT of challenges to do. 3aGl3 was kind enough to write a few lines himself about the challenges.
There are for example the Marksman and Expert challenges, they are of course an important part, as they are required to unlock weapon attachments.
Each of the Marksman and Expert Challenges has 7 ranks. Completing one of the first five ranks of either challenge gains one weapon level, but more on that later. The weapon levels and challenge progress are keept over the Prestige levels (if there are prestige levels), just as the titles and emblems. The killcount below is for ARs, SMGs, LMGs and Sniper Rifle. Shotguns, Sidearms and Launchers have a different killcount.

Marksman
I. 25 Kills, Weapon Rankup & 1,000XP
II. 75 Kills, Weapon Rankup & 2,000XP
III. 150 Kills, Weapon Rankup & 5,000XP
IV. 300 Kills, Weapon Rankup & 10,000XP
V. 500 Kills, Weapon Rankup & 10,000XP
VI. 750 Kills Title & 10,000XP

VII. 1000 Kills, Title & 10,000XP

Expert
I. 15 Headshots, Weapon Rankup & 10,000XP
II. 30 Headshots, Weapon Rankup & 10,000XP
III. 75 Headshots, Weapon Rankup & 10,000XP
IV. 150 Headshots, Weapon Rankup & 10,000XP
V. 250 Headshots, Weapon Rankup & 10,000XP
VI. 300 Headshots, Title & 10,000XP

VII. 1000 Headshots, Title & 10,000XP

Marksman VII & Expert VII, Title

Overall there will be 14 categories with challenges, 4 more then in the vanilla COD4.
There are five new categories, which are:

  • Sidearms
  • Perks Tier 1 & Tier 2
  • Perks Tier 3 & Equipment
  • Killstreaks/Pointstreaks

Also the Boot Camp, Operations, Killer, Humiliation and Elite categories will be resorted,
into Basic Training, Operations, Humiliation, Elite and Intimidation.
I decided to do so as some challenges are now moved to the
new categories and I also added a lot of challenges from MW2.

8. Weapon Ranks

(Temporary idea. Will be removed if idea is scrapped.)
Alright, so we wanted to have a weapon rank idea, quite like CoD: Black Ops 2 has. That's why there are six marksman and six expert challenges. So here's how it will work:Once you get a weapon rank, you'll get XP, and an attachment. You'll get a new player title for the last 2 marksman and the last 2 expert challenges, and one for maxing out both.Weapon ranks stay the same through prestiges (IF we get it to work), but you'll of course have to rank up to get the gun AGAIN, OR you can use an unlock point (You will recieve one per prestige) to instantly unlock your favorite weapon. (But only once you reach rank 4 to unlock the Create-a-Class)

9. Other

So i've covered the weapons, maps, dev stuff, streaks and more in this, so i just want to clarify some things here.1. I'm unsure if there'll be an open beta sometime in the near future. We might just skip an open beta and go straight to the release.2. I have selected several people from my friends list to come and test the 2.0 closed beta. I'm NOT, and i repeat NOT gonna do challenges on Moddb so more people can come and test it out. I don't want MORE people to test it out at the moment.3. There WILL be DEV only weapons that both me and 3aGl3 will most likely run around with if we join servers you guys host. This includes the Ripper.

10. Servers

Also note that at the moment, as i'm running a cracked version of the game, so i can't get into any non-cracked servers. So if you guys want me to join your server, please make sure that it's a cracked one. Also, i DO require that if you are running a server, i will only add it to the mod's description if it's a cracked one.

11. DEV team

Well, i'm glad to announce that CoD: Combined Operations has now been put onto the mod list of "Mod Team Germany". MTG (3aGl3 and Lefti) has made Return of Zombie ops together with some others, Global Ops and Sniper Warfare (Both which are WIP). Now before you ask, no, i'm not German, i'm Swedish. (It's close enough!!!!)

Alright, I've covered alot of things here, so i hope you'll read it all, and i hope you'll enjoy the mod once it either enters open beta (IF it does) or when it releases!

I've said many times that i am not gonna promise a release date. It's released when it's released.

Only supporting cracked versions of the game doesn't really help the audience, if you're a cool person, you actually buy the game because it's worth every penny.

I support all versions of the game, but since i play on a cracked game currently, i can't join or support any "real" servers.

Most of the people actually seem to play with a cracked game for some reason. When I took down the cracked server for a few days I had several people asking why it's down. So it does make sense to supprt cracked gameservers, as everyone, no matter if with a legal or cracked game can join them.

could you also release a server.cfg? and possible with the new update (2.0) release all the files together (so all the files needed for the mod into the one file along with a server.cfg)

Well, in 2.0, all the files needed to play online and offline will be included. We'll see if an server.cfg file will be included aswell.
