Post news Report RSS Misterix history.

Misterix is one of the most famous and appreciated mods of GTA San Andreas. How was it born? How did it develop? With which background? And above all, where is it going?... Directly from the author.

In the year 2005, when I bought the new PC, I found GTA-III installed. I immediately became keen on this kind of open game, where one was free to explore the environment and interact with it with a good approximation of virtual reality, like Matrix.
I then bought Vice City and San Andreas, and in 2006 I started the modder career on the latter.
I chose the Automan nick for the famous TV series of the 80s. It's hard to emerge with a name like this, when there are mountains of other google references .. but it makes it more interesting to be able to make yourself known! I'm Italian, born in 1968.
As I developed vehicles manufactured as fiction of the * ChuckUp Complex in Las Venturas, I made contact with Zeb89, who created mods of particular characters to look for.
So we decided to put everything together in "Misterix", the mysteries of San Andreas and more.
Zeb89 is the author of Peds & Missions, but I did Maps & Vehicles.
So Zeb89 is not the only author of Misterix as many believe.
From 2010 to 2014 I had to leave the Internet, and Zeb89 took advantage of it to 'improve' Misterix, calling it Misterix 2 - wrong name, however-, trying to make some gains to the detriment of AdBlock and throwing discredit on my work. ..
But Kifflom's revenge was not long in coming, and justice and deed: there is nothing left of that Misterix 2 ...
While I'm making Misterix 4, I thought about proposing Misterix 3, which I realized alone with real missions, and that is certainly better than Misterix 1.
(Actually the Misterix 2 is my version, but it will not bore you with it, even if it's not so bad).
[In Misterix 3 there are GTA-4 vehicles, so in Misterix 4 there will be GTA-5 vehicles, 4 of which are not/are different in 5, and Max Payne 3; that's why its realization takes a long time].
GTA San Andreas will NEVER die!
