As evidenced on numerous threads on RWS, Macologist, and other forumsm, Kamek's hot new mod has been vexing Mac gamers, who couldn't get the mod to launch. The problem was with the Mac-specific way in which the stock retail AW launches. The first solution discovered by Macologist was to use a manual installation of the ZIP version of the mod, as well as a manual launch in Terminal, the Unix commandline of OS X.
However Macologist since then created a standalone launcher in C, which is included with the new Mac-specific INI files in the AW7 Mac Installation Kit. The download link is included in the article.
A fully automated installer in a Mac DMG disk image may also be coming, so keep your eyes on Macologist the next few weeks for updates.
