All Mandalorians are warriors. Some sign up to the military for life and end up in one of the few legendary Legions that protect Mandalore. The time tested fighting forces and soldiers that make up these Legions have histories that stretch back as far as the First Mandalorian Empire.

Skye Sunrider was born on an Imperial world, with a family staunchly loyal to the Empire. His father taught him at a young age that loyalty is one of the most important qualities in a man; this lesson is one Skye would take to heart and carry with him for his entire life. When Skye started displaying an affinity for the Force, his parents taught him to hide his abilities, as while they were loyal to the Empire, the same could not be said for the Sith.

As he aged, Skye started realizing that the Empire and the Sith were more similar than his parents would have liked to believe. So he left. One day, he confronted his parents, and explained that he could not be loyal to a faction as monstrous as the Empire. His father, contrary to being furious, was proud of his son for making his decisions on his own. They parted on good terms, despite their opposing views. The boy was sixteen when he left.

Skye left to seek out the resistance, but soon realized that such a task would prove to be impossible. The Jedi were scattered, and their allies were in hiding. So Skye took to the underworld, hiding out on Nar Shaddaa like so many others. Old habits die hard, so Skye kept from using the Force for much more than precognition and subtle manipulations, instead focusing on honing his still with blades and even blasters.

After nearly a year in hiding, Skye found that the underworld ill-suited him. Fortunately, it wasn't long before the Galactic Federation came into existence. When he learned of this, Skye spent every credit to his name to get on a flight to Eriadu, and before long he found himself at the Jedi temple. Despite his age, they allowed him to become a member of the new, steadily growing Jedi Order..

Skye's habit of suppressing his Force abilities quickly began to hamper him, and for a long time he was stuck in a rut, unable to do more than move a rock with the Force. However, his skill with a blade began to develop, and it wasn't long before it was clear that his calling would be that of the Jedi Guardians. For ten years he trained with the Jedi, until, finally, they bestowed upon him the title of Jedi Knight.

Once he had moved on past his apprenticeship, Skye quickly made the decision to join the Federation Navy. His education with his Imperial family, as well as his experience in the underworld and a great deal of reading on the side in addition to his Jedi training, gave him a fair amount of tactical insight. While far from the best commander, he was a quick learner, and proved to be capable and fast-thinking, even under pressure.

While Skye has overcome his previous limitations with the Force, his abilities are not nearly as honed as some others, and he prefers to use his blade in combat. In that he excels. His father's lessons on loyalty are still with him, and he will never abandon the Federation he now serves, even if that loyalty costs him his life.

Nightshade company is an experienced group of soldiers active since the formation of the Resistance against the New Galactic Empire. Recruited and trained by some of the best specialists the Resistance had to offer at the time, including former members of the famous Nova Squad, the troops of Nightshade Company are among the top tier infantry formations within the Federation. Their captain, Leonis Vaut, was originally an Imperial squad commander before defecting to the Resistance after the Silentium War.

The extended trooper company made itself famous for orbital insertions in the battle for freedom over Kinyen, where the group dropped from orbit into the city's capital, holding out against waves of Imperial Stormtroopers while reinforcements secured the city more traditionally. The soldiers in Nightshade company specialize in orbital drops, and are often simply dropped right on top of their enemies.

The troopers of Nightshade Company are far from elite but still respectable in their own right as is reflected by their use of unorthodox methods and equipment. The Nightshades specialize in high-altitude atmospheric or orbital insertion.

When there's an invasion, Nightshade is always the first to enter the fray. "Feet first into Hell" or so their motto goes. Their equipment enables them to perform under these conditions, although by no means more powerful the modified ARC-9965 Blaster Rifle is a lot more durable to account for wear and tear and the same goes for their rather unique armour which is sealed for vacuum for a limited amount of time, is layered with shock absorbers and equipped with jetpacks. Overal the armour is lighter and more versatile, of a lesser durability rating than common Stormtrooper or Federation trooper armour.

Born to Kalen Starshadow and Shanna Duran on the Imperial Center. Kalen, a brilliant starship technician serving onboard the Imperious-class Star Destroyer “Hadron Spire” and Shanna, former Imperial ace pilot assigned to the same ship. The pair fought at the Battles of Mandalore, Telos and Agamar during the Mandalorian and Imperial Civil Wars. With the war’s days closing in they were allowed to return to the Imperial Center. In the months soon after they married, retired and had a child they named Sidias.

As a child Sidias was quiet and reserved spending most of his time in solitude. He had an astounding ability to learn the teachings of his tutors quickly and sense occurrences ahead of time which attracted the attention of Darth Revos who found him to be Force-sensitive. Appearing before Sidias as a wiseman he offered him some advice on how to tap into his latent abilities. In reality he was grooming the child, ever so slightly to see if he had the potential to become his apprentice.

Sidias practiced his new found powers, exacting revenge on classmates who had wronged him, instilling fear in tutors who failed him and even terrorizing his parents. The time had come for Revos to take his pupil to be trained properly. Sidias' parents, rather than being glad to be rid off a tyrannical child, cried and begged Sidias for forgiveness. Claiming it was their fault he turned out as he did. But the young hopeful had none of it and turned away from his parents, stating that their attachments were their weakness. Hearing this made Revos all the more pleased.

During his tenure under Lord Revos the young Sith began to master how to take enemies greater than himself. Sidias was pitted against beasts and man alike including many hopefuls and fellow acolytes. Revos was malicious and meticulous, traits he passed on to his apprentice now known as Darth Azrael. Turning him more into a weapon than a person, Azrael's skill with the lightsaber was unmatched by his peers. He was a prodigy using the Niman lightsaber form, grasping it far quicker than most. Something Revos prides himself in for being a good teacher.

However, while it is true that Sidias Starshadow is the descendant of Kalen Starshadow, the rest of his personal history is incorrect. It was Darth Revos who slew Kalen Starshadow, the last of the Fel Imperial Knights, and took the young Sidias as his apprentice to spite his fallen foe, placing him in an Imperial family and watching the last son of the Fel Empire for signs of the Force. Revos was not disappointed, through subtly manipulations Sidias became the apprentice he desired, sending him down the dark path ever since he found Sidias on Bastion. Darth Azrael is unaware of his true origin due to the Sith Order prohibiting communications, especially to parents outside the Order.

The master passed on everything to his apprentice, molding Azrael into a copy of himself. His teachings were varied and Azrael absorbed everything, a true prodigy. Perhaps even too much so. Revos passed along his knowledge, his dermination, violence, ambition, arrogance but also his treachery. One day, master and apprentice enjoyed a game. Chess, Revos took to black and Azrael held white. By the end of the game the black king had been slain and the master was no more. Azrael keeps the piece in his possession to this day.

Midnight company is notorious for its torch and burn operations. Created during the Fel Empire crisis, the soldiers gained both experience and infamy hunting down resistance members following the final battle between Cronus and Kairn. Whenever a base was detected, the men of Midnight Company were always first on the scene. Their captain, Arkan Slyver, led the first of the company's soldiers in the final battle on Bastion, using fire to burn out hostile emplacements.

Ashborn soldiers, the members of Midnight Company are generally considered to be slightly more unhinged than the average soldier, a natural trait for one willing to strap a canister of fuel and a flame projector to his or her weaponry. Anyone who wants to join the company ought to have a love for destruction and genocide. Midnight Company is comprised of some of the Empire's most dangerous and unstable fighters.

Midnight Company is called in when enemies need to be flushed out. Their weapons, otherwise standard issue Stormtrooper gear, are all equipped with flamethrowers ideal for flooding buildings and bunkers and all manners of cover with blazing fire. Their armour is aptly sealed to guard against the scorching heat of their own power, this renders them somewhat slower due to the added protection making them cross over into the heavy infantry and shock trooper category. For a defensive strategist, the men in Midnight Company are a nightmare. They will not stop until their enemies are destroyed.
