Two brand new campaigns are now available for the Modern Arms mod in the “Kyiv Offensive” campaign pack. You can download this here: Moddb.com
This mission pack introduces new units such as the BMP-3, the D-30 howitzer, the Ka-52 attack helicopter, the Mig-29 fighter and the Ukrainian T-64BV tank. Missions are set in more appropriately updated modern environments, with new buildings and roads.
The campaigns are as follow.
"Day 1, Special Military Operation"
The Russian campaign.
Told from the Russian perspective, we start with a spectacular helicopter-borne invasion, something never done in Sudden Strike 3 until now! To make it even better, Ka-52 attack helicopters take part, and they look just perfect in the game.
Russian VDV units land abruptly at the famous Antonov Airport in Hostomel, and must seize it from the Ukrainian garrison. Ukrainian units will rush to counterattack, as Chechen forces of the “Akhmat” unit approach from another direction to help relieve the VDV from the growing pressure of being deep in hostile territory. Devastating TOS-1 launchers should arrive to help clear the map.
If you prevail, the fighting will die down and you will go on a less intense patrol mission at the radioactive ghost town of Pripyat, where the hazards are quite different. You might get a chance to call in some rare Mig-35 airstrikes.
"Kyiv Offensive"
The Ukrainian campaign.
Take command of Ukrainian forces blocked in Chernihiv. Here, your task will be to cause as much damage in materiel to Russian forces as possible. Counter the armored might of a Russian battalion tactical group, then hunt and destroy their fuel tankers in a counterattack!
Your forces will be weak at first, but you can gather a lot of them. You will get unique Ukrainian vehicles such as the T-72AMT for the first time, and might get a chance to call in Su-25 bombers!
If you win this mission, the next task will take place in the suburb of Kyiv known as Brovary. For the first time you will receive units from the controversial Azov Regiment as reinforcements, with special bonuses and skins. Your task is to recreate a famous ambush on a Russian tank column in the game, inspired by satellite pictures and televised news about the war. Don’t be too self-assured that history will repeat itself. Fail to set the trap properly, and the Russian tanks will barrel down the road and reach their objective, causing immediate defeat!

Surprise content is available to download, too. The "Ukrainian Front" mission pack was corrected. The Soledar Encirclement mission was improved. Updates and corrections in the changelog have been applied across all content. The "Z pack" changes the skins of Russian armored vehicles by adding "Z" symbols to their hulls.
The "Z pack" works if you install it last, after installing the other mod content of your choice.

Regretfully, these are only mini-campaigns consisting of two missions each, but a lot fun can be had if you play cautiously and drag the missions out to last even longer!
This is not the end. The remaining important battles of the conflict in Ukraine might be made by adding as many assets as possible over the summer, including many of NATO’s modern arms. Much more recent battles will be portrayed, and there might finally be some scenarios set in Syria coming, too.
