We are all proud to say that that our latest version 1.4 has hit the streets. It is the product of 3 weeks hard work and I hope you see it shows in the product!
· There is now a menu system for everything you need - managing your characters, changing your preferences, viewing even more stats for your character, setting all the key binds for the KotS powers, and on-screen help in the game.
· To help you see how you're progressing, the amount of points you gained are included in the messages when you kill, and losses when you die.
· There are some changes to the balance of the game... resist gave you about 3x more health than vampire, yet came before, so we have changed the values and the order of the upgrades (check the guide page for specifics).
· We have also added the first of my customizations - some sounds for the jetpack & cloak.
· The hud and score-table are also tweaked, showing the level of your opponents in the score table, and showing your points (x10) in place of frags on your hud. To keep the compatability with other mods out there such as ut2vote, we can't touch the hud code properly as yet...
· The jetpack & cloak can now be activated without binds - holding down jump for a short time will set the jetpack going, pressing jump again will turn it off. And a quick double-crouch will activate and de-activate the cloaking. In testing this proved very popular with me, it's a great control system :o)
The new build is running on all the servers except Game2xs which will be updated tomorrow. You will be able to get the mod from the servers as you join them until we have it on all servers and provide the installer.
