Install procedure news

Many of the complaints I've gotten recently, after the popularity surrounding this mod spiked for some reason (I honestly don't know why. If you reading this knows, please do tell me! I'm curious), many complaints have come in regarding the installation system. Well, the installation itself is actually rather neat. I used Smart Install *something* (forgot the name), which does all the dirty work for you. The implementation script, on the other hand, is a complete mess.

Carmageddon mod has three scripts for messing with your handling.dat files. First is the implementer, run at installation to implement the necessary files into your GTAIV directory. Next is the Switcher, which is the one that is run whenever you use the switcher to toggle Carmageddon. Then is the "reinstatement"-script. Creative naming aside, it's basically run at uninstall to ensure the original GTAIV handling.dat file is put in place before removing Carmageddon mod.

This is all changing.

The three scripts are now going to be combined into one, sorta, with the reinstatement script being built into the new installer I'm using: Inno Setup. Implementation and switching will be handled by the main script, and it now uses a more user-friendly directory browsing prompt for finding the folders.

As I'm writing this, however, I wonder to myself: "Why not just install the mod in the GTAIV or the EFLC directory? Hell, let the user decide which; it's ridiculously easy to find out which directory the mod is ran from anyways!"

Expect an update somewhat soon. And do tell me the reason why this mod has gotten so popular over the past month or two. I've tried googling to find any possible articles or some such, but I can't find anything.
