Hey, this is just a small message for all Mod makers who post news here on moddb. I would just like to ask if you post news with images, not to post a huge pic in the news. Please include a thumbnail with a link directing to the picture. This will make it easier on all of us, and us newsies wont have

Hey, this is just a small message for all Mod makers who post news here on moddb. I would just like to ask if you post news with images, not to post a huge pic in the news. Please include a thumbnail with a link directing to the picture. This will make it easier on all of us, and us newsies wont have to waste to much time editing everyones news and adding thumbnails.

thumb nails link to large, not eveyone has cable like us.

First off I am back from my 2 day vacation and secondly, so many posts have had like 200k's + worth of images in them.. it is just ridiculous to say the least!

I'm glad most of you agree. I thought I was going to get flamed for it.

Just think of it this way. If you post large images without thumbnails, its most likey that the newso who has to auth it, really cant be bothered making thumbnails, and therefore, it wont make it on teh main page. Simple as that.

Yup. If I see a big-honking picture, it better be damn good. Little pics are friendly pics. :)

Ok this warning hasnt worked obviusly.

Another mod posted a LARGE image. I removed the image. Next time the news wont make it on teh main news site.
