For the first batch of Japanese games we are releasing in English, we really wanted to make sure they were so unique they would stand out in the crowd. I Wanna Be God of The Forest is the first title of several which we believe will bring unique never before seen content to the indie scene.
The team at Shindenken put together a very engrossing strategy/Tower defense game that is not as static as what everyone is probably used to. You are not just placing stationary towers around a map with often predictable results. The system in I Wanna Be God of The Forest is a much more dynamic system and sometimes seems to have a mind of it's own!
The goal of the game is to guide a growing ecosystem so that it is well balanced and able to defend itself against attack. This lack of precise control may be strange at first but it helps to lend the world a very lively and energetic feel. The creatures that evolve have a mind of their own and if you are not careful you may see them fighting each other instead of the giant robots coming to destroy their habitat.
GO PINK HAMSTER THING!
I love this, thoroughly. I can't wait to indulge my senses more.
