Jeez, I haven't updated for a looong time. Well I'm still alive (I think) and I'm still working on this mod more than is good for me! Well, here's the long overdue update for those who are interested:
Firstly (this is quite a big one) I restarted the whole project. Why? Because the old version was filled with bugs, was really badly organized, and had such messed-up code that it depressed me to even look at it. So I restarted again... But now it's so much better! New screenshots should come through as soon as I add the floor and ceiling textures again (THE most boring thing. Copying and pasting never gets any funner...)
Graphics-wise, I designed a new status bar, a new officer, and a new SS. Plus some weapon graphics were drawn, although I'm not sure how well they compare to the Kreml 3d stuff. But then, it's not fair! They've got WSJ. Damn you, Martin! I also had a cunning plan of trying to conserve the cool Wolf3d atmosphere, at least slightly. So expect blue things.
Secondly, we're thinking of changing the website to a Super Blitzkrieg site proper, with full and complete information section, amongst other things. Which should be fun.

Other painfully boring things: Light shading, directional 3d sprites, and any other long/complex tutorials. Plus drawing those 50 guard sprites gets old soon.
Ah yeah the most boring is definately sprites. The light shading was kind of fun to me, it's awesome to see something totally new to the engine like that :D
