Thank you for tuning in!
With 2023 just across this month's boulevard and the release of Duke Nukem 3D: Blast Radius becoming increasingly imminent, I figured I would drop one last update before proceeding with finalization.
Since the prior August 27th, 2022 update, all of the gameplay (15+ hours) has been implemented, and a brand new epilogue map has been made, bringing the level count to a certain 14; maybe 15, depending on whether or not I'm including a second secret level - which as of currently exists, but would require weeks of polishing as to be presentable.
Now, each level is in the process of undergoing one last pass of subtle adjustments and minor fixes before I can compile a fully traversable build to send over to a crew of hand-picked beta testers for one last barrage of pre-release feedback.
I would also like to present a video trailer around that time, which will be whenever real life and my hardware both agree to let me. Shout out to Ledsbourne for being of such great help with the testing of the individual levels already - make sure you check out his own releases and projects!
My goal is to refine and release this as soon as possible. Originally, Christmas 2022 was my ideal plan but from the current look of things, for quality purposes, shooting for early 2023 sounds a tad more reasonable. The cosmos will tell us!
Here's a batch of screenshots from various testing sessions throughout the past months, to keep you waiting. Enjoy and thanks for your patience!

Looking good! Eagerly awaiting this..!
Thank you! Eagerly working on this... Implementing one more last-minute batch of new sounds as we speak, and tonight I'm about to try adding more phases to the ultimate boss battle. Slowly but surely, coming up! I appreciate your patience!
Looks so good! I can't wait to play it, but don't feel rushed. What you're creating for the Duke community is appreciated by all.
Thank you for the encouraging words! Yeah, as much of a hobby as mapping is, this project has been receiving enough interest (and has been enough of a personal time sink) that until the very finalization, I would like to respect all of that, which rushing things out of the door wouldn't. At this point, relatively slow pace makes for extra perspective and hindsight on the product which actually really helps with polishing, too. I appreciate your interest and hope you'll have fun playing!
