ISAF forces have been working around the clock to secure the Comona islands in southern Usea. ISAF carrier based F-4 Phantoms have been deployed. These large fighters come with 2 AIM-9 "Sidewinder"s for air defense and can be armed with an array of air-to-ground ordinance should the need arise.

The Erusian Air Force is currently fielding the MIG-21 Fishbed, a small and cheap fighter compared to the beefier F-4. Despite their relative weakness, Fishbeds are still dangerous in numbers. The MiG-21 is capable of carrying rocket pods, though these patrols seem to be for scouting and light air-to-air defense only, armed with 2 AA-2 "Atoll" missiles.

Erusian Air Force fighters have been probing the local airspace, and ISAF F-4s have engaged Erusian MIG-21s on several occasions. An F-4 on patrol, and some satellite feeds have captured these images of the MIGs on approach.
