Sudden Strike 3's large-scale endless tactical battles have finally caught up with the also seemingly endless action in Ukraine. NATO vehicles this time are the stars of the missions.

2023 Ukrainian Counteroffensive
Taking a map made using satellite pictures of the real battlefield (to a large extent "gamified" and scaled down in keeping with the way Sudden Strike 3 portrays battles), this mission introduces very powerful NATO units.
M142 HIMARS launchers are capable of striking just about any location on the battlefield. so they will prove to be a kind of superweapon at the tactical level. The same goes for the M270 MLRS, but it means double trouble for the enemy, packing twice as much ammo as HIMARS and delivering a follow-up strike for every launch.
The Leopard 2A5 brings an absolutely astonishing amount of frontal armor and an imposing rate of fire to tackle Russian armor, and the M2 Bradley boosts the firepower of its attacks. Other NATO vehicles like the M113 APC and AMX-10 RC appear.
Vremevka Ledge
Reusing the same map from the Russian perspective, this new scenario introduces units like the 2S7 Pion 203mm self-propelled gun, whose range can encompass the massive map. KA-52 helicopters are on call to help you again (they appeared in the Hostomel mission earlier). In addition, the previously rare T-90M tank takes up its role as the main Russian tank, able to match what NATO has provided to Ukraine.
In addition, some surprise new artillery and mortar pieces and a new adaptation of the Kornet ATGM to a pure infantry role (rather than a manned gun) wait for your command.
Next up
"Syrian Strike" will bring the conflict in Syria to the game (all the assets are already included in the Counteroffensive pack though, in case you're interested in making missions), followed by "Yemeni Resistance" for the war in Yemen. All within the next couple of days, hopefully.
