Here's the changes and new features that will be in the upcoming 0.65 release scheduled for next weekend. Lots of optimizations have been made as well as some cool tweaks and additions. Version 0.65 is going to be a blast.

Bugs
Fixed a bug that caused the Protozoid Slimers spawned by the Szalinsky Culverin to not explode properly when detonated.
Fixed a bug that caused the player to be unable to change their FOV settings.
Fixed a bug that sometimes caused the Inhuman Devastator to do self harm to the player while strafing and moving forward.
Fixed a bug that allowed the Shrapnel Storm to be able to fire when there was zero ammo in it's inventory.
Fixed a bug that would crash the game while using the Meat Grinder's secondary fire mode and pausing the game.
Fixed a bug that caused the Zsalinski Culverin to fire lots of projectiles when using the expander and slimer fire modes and pausing the game.
Fixed a bug that caused the Inhuman Devastator to fire 2 projectiles instead of 1 when using the primary fire mode.
Fixed a bug that caused the Inhuman Devastator to lock the game up by spawning too many shell casings while firing and pausing the game.
Fixed a bug that allowed the Inhuman Devastator to be able to fire when there was zero ammo in it's inventory.
Fixed a bug that caused the Syphon Chamber to use 2 rounds of ammo instead of 1 when using the primary fire mode.
Fixed a bug that caused the Close Quarters Melee Combat to glitch out when using a left jab right after a kick attack.
Fixed a bug that caused the player to be unable to kick when using the Close Quarters Melee Combat while their inventory had been completely removed (Beginning of E1L3).
Fixed a bug that sometimes caused the Long Strike to do self harm to the player while jumping and moving forward.
Fixed a bug that allowed the Four Horsemen to fire standard and heat seeking missiles when zero ammo is available.
Fixed a bug that caused the American Pig to fire 2 projectiles instead of 1 when using the primary fire mode.

Frame Rate Optimizations
Added a 50/50 chance that bullet casings will not be spawned by the Meat Grinder as it's being fired to help stabilize frame rate.
Fire only creates smoke when it can see the player to help stabilize frame rate.
Reduced the chance that blood spray effects spawn blood splash effects when hitting surfaces to help stabilize frame rate.
Reduced the chance that blood spray effects spawn blood splats when hitting surfaces to help stabilize frame rate.
Reduced scrap created by Pig Tanks and Pig Recons when destroyed to help stabilize frame rate.
Added more random chances to bullets spawning blood effects on flesh impact to help stabilize frame rate.
Added more random chances to bullets spawning spark effects on metal impact to help stabilize frame rate.

Weapons
Fixed the "not enough ammo" quote when trying to use the American Pig's grenade launcher without having sufficient ammo.
Added the nightvision green palette effect to the Szalinsky Culverin Protozoid Slimer projectiles.
If you die on a map that contains a secret weapon and you picked up the secret weapon before dying, starting over on that map from the beginning will remove the secret weapon from your inventory.
Increased Long Strike Max ammo from 50 to 75.
Increased Zsalinski Culverin max ammo from 50 to 75.
Increased Inhuman Devastator max ammo from 200 to 250.
Increased Syphon Chamber max ammo from 250 to 350.
Added some animation to the ammo belt on the American Pig while using the primary fire mode.
Increased the fire delay when using the T-800 Spas12 Shotgun.
The Syphon Chamber's black hole no longer causes the screen to get dark.
Added a cooldown time to the Desert Eagle's explosive projectile attack that also has a cooldown bar in the HUD under the magazine bullet icons.
The Automatic Danger Close Defense System no longer attacks enemy vehicles or robotic enemy types.

Enemies
Fixed the orange blood color on the Lizboss and Pigboss death sprites.
Lizmen don't always drop Meat Grinder ammo when killed now.
Increased the chance that Pigcops drop shotgun ammo when killed.
Increased the chance that Lizmen drop chaingun ammo when killed.
Sharks have a chance of being swapped out with Scuba Liztroops.
Enemy Portals are now fully bright in dark rooms.
Reconfigured the spawn rates for the Enemy Portals created by Commanders to keep them from spawning New Beasts most of the time.
Enemies are no longer spawned into maps via Respawn actors set up by the map editor, but are now spawned in by the Enemy Portal actor which can add some extra randomness to which enemy is spawned in.

Items
Death Drones no longer attack friendly Protozoid Slimers created using the Zsalinsky Culverin.
Added a new sound when toggling Automatic Night Vision modes.
Added a new button that allows you to toggle the Automatic Danger Close system on and off.
Death Drones can no longer damage the player.
Death Drone now follows you around, seeks and attacks enemies when they are in range, and returns to your position when enemies are not visible.
Added an animation to the Death Drone for when it's moving around.

Maps
Added a new episode named Balls of Steel that contains 6 hardcore slaughter maps.

Misc
Reconfigured the mod files layout to ensure player control settings are no longer reset at random.
Halved the volume of shell casings hitting the floor.
Added a new variable near the top of the USER.CON file called SHELLCOUNTER that governs how long shell casings stay in a map before having a chance of being removed.
Removed the blue screen filter when Atomic Damage is active.
All screen overlays for Atomic Damage, Steroid Usage, and Bullet Time have been widened to stay further out to the edge of the screen.
Increased the size of most explosion effects.
Added thicker smoke effects to actors used in maps that create explosion effects like seenine explosives or cracks in the wall.
Blood that spurts from corpses no longer causes an impact sound effect when touching the player.
Added an icon to the Danger Close HUD icon that signifies whether or not it's set to Automatic Mode.
Added a Night Vision Goggles icon to the HUD that signifies whether they're being used and whether or not they're set to Automatic Mode.
You can save all babes and not just the captured ones.
Sometimes gibs, debris, casings, and corpses will float to the top of the water surface when underwater.
Underwater blood puffs created when shooting enemies or gibbing enemies is much more visible now.
Chance of meat chunks getting stuck to the ceiling has been increased.
