  • I'll be speaking about all the different things that we have decided to include in the 2.0 release in the future. All ranging from the menu's, customization, weapons, killstreaks, gametypes and more.
  • Do note that everything here can and will most likely change if things go south. This includes gametypes, killstreaks, customization options and more that might be removed or modified.
  • 1. Menu's, servers and gametypes.
  • So in 2.0, we're planning on having 3 different server types. These include the following:
  • Note: If anything comes in the way, and/or if the gametype(s) written here are not possible, i will update and remove them.

  • Many gametypes with only maps shipped with CO 2.0 which contain waypoints are supported.
  • Gametypes:
  • Team Deathmatch
  • Free-For-All

  • Team Tag
  • Kill Confirmed
  • Drop Zone
  • Blitz
  • Capture the Flag
  • Predator Hunter (50% xp only, bots can't be selected.)
  • VIP (Respawns allowed. First team to kill the enemy VIP 5 times wins.)
  • Note: By default on Bot Match, the amount of bots will be 3v3, 4v4, 6v6, or 8v8, depending on map and/or gametype. However, there will be an option which will disable this and let you choose how many bots you want.

  • Co-op gametypes you will most likely recognise on maps with waypoints.
  • Gametypes:
  • Chaos
  • Safeguard
  • One versus Army
  • CO 2.0 will also feature alot more customization for servers. This includes not allowing weapons, killstreaks and such. Or customizing how killstreaks behave, like how long will the attack helicopter stay, how long will it fire, how long will the Helo Pilot stay before dropping off the player, etc.
  • 2. Customization
  • The customization in CO 2.0 is deeper than ever. Now you can attach 2 attachments to your weapons. One Internal, and one External.
  • Internal: Rapid Fire, FMJ, Hollow Rounds, Explosive Accelerator, and Extended Mags.
  • External: Red Dot Sight, Silencer, ACOG Scope, Variable Zoom and Holographic Sight.
  • We're also introducing a new way of getting items. You will now get an attachment every time you complete an weapon challenge. It doesn't matter if it's an Marksman or Expert challenge. You will recieve the next unlock either way.
  • [Note: Unlocks are not the same for all weapons. AR's don't have the same unlocks as SMG's for example.]
  • 3. Killstreaks (Again) and teams.
  • We're now planning on having CoD: Ghosts killstreaks AND voices with extra's with unused voiceovers. The airstrike for example will be known as "Zeburus" (a greek 3 headed hell hound. Perfect, as there's 3 jets flying by and dropping bombs.) and more. "Will this disable the MOAB?" Of course not. It will simply be re-named to "KEM Strike", which is the CoD: Ghosts variation.
  • 4. Maps
  • In 2.0, we're gonna launch with even more maps. Here's a list of compatible maps that will launch with 2.0 WITH waypoints so far: Highrise (mp_highrise)
  • Dust2 Classic (mp_dust2_classic)
  • Castle (mp_castle_v1)
  • Modern Rust (mp_modern_rust) (Domination, Sabotage and Headquarters not supported)
  • Vukovar Day/Night (mp_vukovar[_n]) (Bots will get stuck underground. You need to go clear them out manually.)
  • 5. Launch XP Boosts
  • Now i thought that when CO 2.0 launches, our server will of course become public. What we'll most likely ALSO do is make it either double, or TRIPPLE XP for a weekend. (We'll most likely launch it on a friday) This will make sure you guys can rank up x2 or x3 as quickly to earn as much as possible. We'll be playing random gametypes with or without bots (Mostly TDM, FFA, DOM, and Hunted with bots, and SnD, SnR, SAB, CTF, OFCTC, TT, KC and more without.) so you guys can enjoy it. You will of course still be able to enjoy it offline, but you'll miss out on the weekend XP boosts.
  • 6. Release info and contents
  • Now we're gonna be releasing this in 3 variants.
  • Mod = Includes the mod only. (Size: Aprox 350-450mb)
  • Maps = Includes the maps only. (Size: Aprox 250-400mb)
  • Full = Includes both in one package. (Size: Aprox 600-800mb)
  • Now i write "Aprox" because the mod isn't done yet. It's not being released anytime soon, so don't come asking how big it will be.
  • Also, as said above, i might add more maps with waypoints if they work good on all (or almost) all gametypes.
  • Before the release i will also test every single map on every single gametype to see if they work. This includes all normal modes, bot modes, and special modes. This is to ensure that you guys will get the best possible experience without crashing even once.
  • Note: Mac users: We're gonna have custom mp3 files in the mod. I've heard that this is one cause of mods crashing for Mac users. I'm unsure if we can change that, but we'll try if enough people want it.
  • I hope you guys like what i've written here. I hope you'll get more excited, because i'm excited to see what you guys think.

I'm big excited because now i know what can be inclued the mod.

P.S.: Get a better Headset or Microphone :P Good review but the mic quality isn't the best.

Hope he enjoys it, even if the mod is somewhat buggy at the moment. To be honest, if you're looking for an SP experience, then go for "AIX2". (Allied Intent Extended 2) It's possibly the best SP mod for BF2. If you're into realism, go for Project Reality. If you're into building stuff (Like in Garry's Mod), then get "Sandbox", "Roflbox" and whatnot. There's tons of mods to play for Battlefield 2.
