I am happy to say that I (DawnToDusk) am back after a short (maybe long term depending on how you look at it :P) hiatus. I just had so much stuff going on in my life that I had to pass responsibilities onto NonFactor for a while. I would firstly like to thank him for all the hard work he did for V: MH. I am sure he is exhausted and doesn't even want to think about being a Project Leader for V: MH again or for any MOD for that matter.

While I was gone, my little slaves..... errrr..... co-workers were very hard at work. The progress that was made is mind-boggling. We have revamped the Research & Development document several times, allowing us to organize our ideas. We also now have some sense of all the available classes that will be available and what their equipment load outs will be.

In terms of modeling, we have completed almost all the Tier 1 weapons and have done some skinning to them. Here they are listed below for your convince. You can click on them for a larger version.

We have also started coding and we already got a playable version. We will be tweaking it in the coming weeks so that we may get out a beta to you ASAP, but to do so we need your help.

Right now we are looking for some very talented people to fill positions on the Dev. Team. We are looking for a Modeler who can skin as well, a 2D artist, Concept Artist, Coder, and multiple Mappers. We are open to anyone and everyone. Please don't hesitate to apply.
For more info you can click here (Job Openings section). I will post an updated version of the Job Openings page in a day or two. I need to get some other stuff scared away.

Lastly and not least, I need to hear form you! Please go to the forums and register if you haven't. Make sure to drag your buddies along with you. We have a very diverse and active community.

You can also catch us on IRC at #vmh on Gamesnet.net. Check us out!

Peace Out!
Chris

Thanks for the props! :P

Because we are using the UT2K3 engine, we have had more leway in making our models. If the weapon isn't to complicated, we can make a lot of parts of it smooth, as you can see from the M79.
