Good afternoon everyone!
We are happy to finally announce our first Public Playtest for Shifting Sands! This will include a look at our first map "Hill 209", and will feature layers with different times of day, weather conditions, and an armoured game-mode.
The playtest will include all of the vehicles and weapons we have added to the mod so far. This will allow us to stress test all of the assets and our map before we proceed towards a final release of the mod.
Our second map "Bardia" is not yet ready for playtesting, but as soon as it is, it will be included in future playtests. The start of this playtest will be tomorrow Saturday, 6 August 2022 19:00BST and will continue for 4 map layers.
Details for the server and mod download instructions will be given out closer to the time in our discord here, but will be announced in advance long enough for you to subscribe to the mod and let us know if you have any issues. We will be meeting in the Playtesting Voice Channel on the Shifting Sands Discord.
This is a big milestone for us and we hope to see you all there!
