I feel this is necessary since this is now coming up a lot. The Development team of another mod, led by a guy named Coldfront, is now falsely accusing me of stealing work from them. This is not the case. I am an ex-Developer of that mod, and following a minor disagreement, I was maliciously kicked from the team. This led to a split and my own mod. Following this, they threatened to continue using my work without my permission, which is considered Copyright infringement. After a period of time, they did do so, and as a result, there is now pending litigation for Copyright Infringement. ALL, and I mean ALL, of the updates to the mod after 1.5 released for that mod, is 80-90% my own work. There were minor contributions from a couple others, and I have not included them in my mod. There was a major contribution made by someone who has given me permission to continue using his work, and so I have. They are no longer a dev for that mod either. In addition, several members of the staff on the ACW dev team have made defamatory remarks, specifically libel, in regards to my mod and what I did to produce it. This is actionable, and litigation may or may not be pending for that as well. TO BE CLEAR:
I have not stolen any work from any of the ACW DEVs, and while there may be a couple files in mod that appear unchanged, it is simply because none of them actually made it, just added a line here or there, and is not actually their intellectual property. Happy New Year.
