Based off of the M135A3 armored personel carrier the M135A3-E is an eniginer version, transporting a ten man combat enginer squad. Used as the construction vehicle for the U.S. Space Expiditionary Force, the comabt enginers prepare the terrain and help set up the U.S.' mobile command structure.

The M135A3 APC like all APC basicly fills the roll of armored truck, capable of transporting afull nine man squad while providing them wih ballistic protection. Unlike IFVs it is not a front line vehicle noted by its weak armor and lack of firepower.
