Greetings, members of ModDB. My name is Kenny, and I am currently the sole team member of the Zombie Swarm team. I originally started this project in about 2011 with a good friend of mine, but due to neither one of us knowing the first thing about putting together a source mod, it was doomed to fall apart. I had managed to piece together a few scattered scraps of content, but looking back, they weren't really of sufficient quality. Moving on to the present day, I now have much more experience working with the source engine, but I am still something of a novice. Filled with vigour, energy and ambition, I have since resumed work on my abandoned Zombie Swarm project files. At present, my plan is to replace all of the artistic assets and maps in Alien Swarm with novel ones. Essentially, Zombie Swarm will be a re-skinned version of Alien Swarm, with a couple of new missions.

Of course, this model stands in silent testament to how far I've come as a modeller since I started work on this project.

My first model, which was based on me, (namely because then I wouldn't offend anyone if it came out looking hideous, and I didn't have to harrass anyone else for reference images...) was much simpler, and had a mere fraction of the polygon count of this model.

Christina has four thousand polygons, whilst the original Kenny model had barely fifteen hundred. The odds are that the Kenny model will not see use in this project anymore, but may be re-modelled so that it meets with my new standard of workmanship.

This character model, which is based on a very special young lady in my life, was initially intended for use with a different project, but was rejected as it didn't fit in with the aesthetic of the other game assets we had brought together. Since work has resumed on Zombie Swarm, I decided that this project would be a perfect home for this lovely little lady.
