Well, here it is: the not-so-miraculous first release of ZERO:HOUR Unleashed.
For those of you that do not know what ZERO:HOUR Unleashed is, it is a modification for Command and Conquer Generals ZERO:HOUR. It focuses on realism without making the game unbalanced. For instance, tanks are more vulnerable to weapons such as rocket-launchers and mines, but are also more effective against infantry as well. This results in more realism, yet relatively even balance. Here's a short list of features:
- No more fog of war
- Ranges proportional to unit, buildings, etc.
- More powerful super weapons
- You get what you pay for in all of the sides (i.e. More money=better)
- All base defenses are better
- Stinger Sites do more damage and are better against Infantry
- Patriots now are able to hit infantry.
- Gatling Cannons fire faster and do slightly more damage (especially against Infantry and
- Highest-Tech Buildings (Strategy Center, Propaganda Center, Palace) get Spy-Sat type thing (whole map shown)
- Spectre Gunship Now does more damage.
