Version 95.2 of the World of Vasnar mod. Refer below for a list of changes and instructions.
New release of the World of Vasnar mod. This is a full version, not a patch.
Before installing delete the old version. To install, simply unzip the file and put it inside your modules folder in the warband directory.
If you have any question, suggestion or feedback, feel free to post them in the comments but, please, first read the F.A.Q. article and the main changelog.
NOT compatible with saves from previous versions.
Changelog:
-Added money lenders and land owners to towns. You can buy land, rent it and get in debt for money. Credits to Floris;
-Undead and vampires (including summons) are now a bit weaker at day and stronger at night. The changes are rather minimal, only increasing/decreasing ironflesh and athletics by a bit. Further than this would probably drasticaly mess up with the balance;
-Added two new summons: Hellriders and Firesages. Avaible to those who worhsip the darkness;
-Split the Liches in two units; a dedicated caster and summoner;
-Added "Grand Curse Bolt" as a spell avaible from the Lich merchant. Used by the lich caster;
-Two new Household units: Tollan Fusiliers and Videns Greatswords;
-Some Household units are now present in the initial garrison of the castle where they can be recruited;
-Increased the number of gold merchants can have (takes some day to take effect);
-Increased the number of Kingdom patrols;
-Being part of the demon worshippers will now allow you to make the cultist parties join you for a price via dialogue (The High Priest and his faithful will not follow you however)
-Fixed the Recruiter. For real this time (Hopefuly);
-Slight buffs to Weldhauf, Ebenhof and Church troops;
-Changed model for the Dark Apostle Armor and dueling pistol;
-Most spells now have requirements;
-Outlaws Parties reduced in size;
-Added a couple new images;
-Reivers now act like deserters;
-A couple new items;
-Most firearms now have bonuses against shields;
-Added a new hostile group in the north, Hellfiends: small bands of demons;
-Various small fixes and tweaks;

I had forgotten about the steam workshop. I'll release it there soonish.
EDIT: tried uploading it several times today but always get errors. I will try again another day to see if it works, but if it doesn't, then I fear the mod will not be on the workshop. Unless someone else want to try and mantain a page on my stead on steam. If anyone is interested, please pm me.
Could you add more races to the game? Doesn't feel very fantasy with 1 undead faction and 9 human factions.
I had ideas for another faction, albeit another human one with a more slavic theme. It got however scrapped (even tough I am still experimenting to see if I can squeeze some space) due to not having enough space on the map and that is the issue. To expand the map, I would have to redo it from scratch, which is a huge work both for the map itself and for the locations that all would need to manually get replaced.
Regarding the fantasy aspect. The setting itself is low dark fantasy and focused on humans and their battle against what are essentialy twisted reflections of their body and souls. That is why undead, vampires and demons are the main "antagonists" and why I feel neither orcs, elves, dwarves or other traditional fantasy races would fit with this asthetic. And even then, only vampires fit as major factions, while undead, worshipers, demons, etc are all minor factions for one reason or the other. I would like and probably will, include some other creature or monster, but even then it will mostly be part of a minor faction roaming the map, most likely part of the undead or demon parties.
Sorry for the long answer but I wanted to give a more detailed explaination insteda of just saying "No"

Hi this is great mode i love this theme of fantasy can you fix the bugs? when you go to siege and press any button in city? its like annoying
Could you be a bit more precise? I fear I don't understand when this bug is happening or what it is affecting.
There is a spawn bug in Thevala Castle during an assault. Or is it the castle floating I don't know

I love the mod but at one point in my campaing i see a bunch of lords bugged on a apart of the river on the map. I can´t reach them so tehy stay there forever bugged and can´t fullfill missiosn bc of them...... Pls for the love of God fix that. Just make it that they can´t walk past rivers, if you have too just delete those rivers..... I cannot tolerate the pain ..... i Wanna play this mod so bad.
Any river in particular or just any river? But rivers are already not walkable for lords or any other party so I have little idea on how they might have gotten stuck inside one.
To be fair, idk too but there was at least 10 to 13 lords in there with some 3 groups of deserters. It was on the Ebenhof river. They were literally waiting in the center of the river, i couldn´t go close to them and they wouldn´t move or react. All i can say is that after i saw that, i just deleted the save and the mod.
Dam i was having so much fun.
Well I redid the whole map for next version so hopefuly it won't happen again.

bro i tried to change the banners to a custom banners i have, i changed some pics from texture folder wich have the word "banners", i edited them using paint.net (as i do with almost any other mod and it's working normally), and then i opened the game and the banners didn't change at all it's still the old banners not the new ones i tried to put, so just i wanted to know if the banners location is not in texture folder maybe?, or what is the problem?

It's in the texture folder. Try editing the second row of banners in the file "banners_m.dds"

in some mods like "diplomacy 4: litdum reloaded" (wich is one of my favorite mods so far) there is a feature that when you die in battle you can take control of one of your troops (one of the major reasons i love that mod) so i was just wondering if you can add this feature as an option maybe.. and maybe just maybe let us choose wich troops to take control on?

hi man, great mod btw i really enjoy playing it
but one thing actually.. i can't find the option to change my banner with the cheat menu if it's possible, can you help and tell me how to change it in the same save? or if i can't can you add the option please?

You can change your banner in the camp menu, go to take an action and you should see the option. (might require you to be a vassal/king)
Otherwise just go in the textures folder search for "banner" and replace your current one with the one you want.
