So, what have we got for you? Maps, maps, and, surprisingly enough, more maps! The latest Rival-Species map-pack is now available for download, and this majestic gift from the Emperor himself contains plenty of goodies for current Rival-Species fans. The pack contains 24 MB worth of RS maps, including both updated levels and brand new content! The details of three of these maps can be found at our website, www.rivalspecies.com..
These include rs_ca_city_conflict and rs_ac_deathvalley, both of which were designed by the mapping veteran we call Dark Marine. You’re going to need it to play on 1st Catachan’s excellent European server.
However, that’s not the only bit of mapping news this month. As well as the map pack, I’d like to announce that Rival-Species welcomes a new mapper to the team: Korkonius. Korkonius has produced an excellent entry project named rs_dc_fringe, which looks quite beautiful.
And last but most certainly not least, we have the behemoth of a map known as rs_ca_gigant. Created by our very own Cyberman, this truly huge map centres around a massive artillery piece and its surrounding fortifications, and is a blast to play.
