It has been an ever twisting period in the Rival-Species saga recently, what with so many ups and downs. First the Rival-Species forum went down in a distinctly unglamorous server crash, one from which we assumed it would never return.
Then, in a slightly more upbeat turn of events, the fast approaching Beta One release was announced, with May the 1st being the day set for Rival-Species’ first ever public outing.
Pre Beta testing is going on apace, and the results are looking incredibly promising, with battles looking ever more eventful and, of course, fun! I suggest you all get scribbling that projected release date in your diaries!
Meanwhile the team continue to work hard at finalising the release, adding two great maps to the Beta, and improving many others. Finally, the old Forums have been replaced with brand-spanking-new ones, which are already enjoying immense popularity, don’t forget to check them out!

thats great news :D been so long in development this mod, be great to see it out their
Oh and Bahl if you want to know why your news was not shown on the main page it is because you selected it to 'show in your mod profile only' not on the 'main page and mod profile'
not i did select, but i did request crusader to do so. it was more or less to test this system if it does what it tells ;). ... next news is gonna be public :D.
