Western Quake³ is intended to be a semi-realistic simulation of the "Old West's" great atmosphere. This Total Conversion includes completely new weapons created with historically correct information about damage, rate of fire, reload time etc. It also includes new gametypes and maps inspired mostly from movies. And to increase the feeling of a "Gunslingers Atmosphere" we also have created music tracks and sounds adapted to the simulated times. NOTE: This Q3 mod became a stand alone title named Smokin' Guns in 2009. The WQ3 mod is no longer developed or supported.

H0wdy! I'm happy to tell you that updated mapshots of my older map "Cobber Canyon" are up. I reworked the lightning, textures and many details.. and added a nice "evening" theme on it, like it was some versions before ;) But take a look at them by yourself: Furthermore, the last player skin is finished!

Furthermore, the last player skin is finished! And, i can tell you, SPoon did a nice job making Ann Oakley ugly as she might have been ;) :

so, now that all the skins for beta 2 are done, SPoon puts all his effort in making new playeranimations(there will be at least 10 death-animations, depending on where the player is shot!!!), and squishing those bad bugs we found during betatesting... so animations should be done soon, and then we are at 97%! Great isn't it ;)??
