Sometimes you will be picking a target and when you're ready to shoot, BOOM, your allies had already killed the guy.
Don't think that the AI is actually smarter, I just increased their accuracy that in my opinion, is a more realistic one, They will hit targets in a smart way, but
as I said before, you can't mod the AI much in Call of Duty 2, so your allies will still not run from grenades sometimes just because you got in their way,
and they will not take the appropriate cover sometimes, but don't think that they are not useful, they can sometimes distract enemies with their bullets
(They provide you and their allies with covering fire when you or them are in the open) In the "Demolition" level, I swear I have seen them finish the entire level themselves, and I didn't shoot a single bullet or threw a single grenade,
I just advanced with them and they saved me everytime, I didn't die once, after that, I gained trust in them.
MrSalazar2005's AI accuracy mod. This is a small mod actually, for those gamers who like big details, you might not notice much changes.--What I did:-I increased the accuracy of the AI a lot (Their accuracy COULD even be better than yours).-I split the mod into two parts, one part increases the accuracy of your allies, the other one increases the accuracy of your enemies.-If you want you can choose another option which increases the health of your allies to 1000 instead of 150.(So that you don't start a level with lots of soldiers and you end it with you and your sarge being the only ones who survived)--What I didn't do (I didn't do these things because they would disrupt gameplay or are not possible):-I didn't make the AI choose better cover or advance by itself like the player does because you can't mod the AI much in this game, so I don't think it's possible.-I didn't increase the enemy AI's health because it would take 20 bullets to kill only one person so there's no sense in making such mod.-I didn't change the British Normandy level AI accuracy at all because when I tried to start the level it gave me a script error message.--Install instructions:To install this mod just follow these simple steps, I'm trying to make this as simple as I can so don't judge me.1. Extract the files (Package, Downloaded file) from the ZIP file to your desktop preferably.2. Choose the mods that you want and move those files to the Call of Duty 2 "main" folder. In the "allies" folder, only choose one of those mods, the one that says"plus health" gives your allies 1000 of health, the other one just gives them higher accuracy. After choosing one, use that one and if you want, use the axis AI mod too,it increases the accuracy of your enemies.3. Play the game! Gain trust to the game's AI! They will die for you!--Entertainment and comments:If you are one of those gamers who like normal details, you will notice your friendlies saving you a lot of times, because of their high accuracy they will shootat the enemy and actualy hit something. Sometimes you will be picking a target and when you're ready to shoot, BOOM, your allies had already killed the guy.Don't think that the AI is actually smarter, I just increased their accuracy that in my opinion, is a more realistic one, They will hit targets in a smart way, butas I said before, you can't mod the AI much in Call of Duty 2, so your allies will still not run from grenades sometimes just because you got in their way,and they will not take the appropriate cover sometimes, but don't think that they are not useful, they can sometimes distract enemies with their bullets(They provide you and their allies with covering fire when you or them are in the open) With this mod, I have seen them clear entire buildings without my help, like in the "Demolition" level, I swear I have seen them finish the entire level themselves, and I didn't shoot a single bullet or threw a single grenade,I just advanced with them and they saved me everytime, I didn't die once, after that, I gained trust in them.--Effort information (What I went through while making this mod)Lots and lots of eye strain, had to change the monitor resolution to reduce the strain and keep on working. I had to open 60 something files at once and edit each one of themindividually, only for the allies, there were 40 more files for the axis, and 60 more files for the optional mod. When I was done I discovered that the eye strain was mostlycaused by my air conditioner, but oh well! I had already finished the work so it didn't matter anymore. I am now proud to have worked a bit hard to make this small mod.--Known bugs:1. Sometimes when one of your soldiers is right in front of an enemy, they shoot at him and miss, which is weird because if you're one meter away from the enemy, he's in the open, and you fail, that's definitly a game bug.2. I saved you guys from this one, if I released the mod without testing the normandy levels, you wouldn't be able to play them, there was an error when I tried to load a level,so what I did was leave the NORMANDY allies' accuracy alone, because that thing was wild man, I mean If I edited it just a little bit, it wouldn't let me play. Anyways I was justletting you know that the British soldiers' accuracy in the normandy levels was not changed.3. If you find a bug with this mod, please let me know as I will most likely try to fix it.--Legal things/stuff:1.
