Another wc3 "HD" mod... But this one is different... We plan to replace all of the wc3 models, spells, textures with new custom made ones, and after that remaster the campaign of wc3 with new terrain and doodads... And even maybe make a custom campaign

Without the originals files, it is hard to make much improvement, but the terrain textures look way better than before. The zip file includes a couple of screenshots comparison. The only downside is the shimmering when you zoom in due to the low or lack of anisotropic filtering of the War3 engine.
I'll be working on the undead blight next.

Nope,most of them are fine but I had to reduce texture quality otherwise game would not run.

Hi Kantarion. The answer is no, I did not compile your textures which by the way, are excellent!
My workflow is the following:
I extracted the original BLP files in eges96 release (fourth release) from the TerrainArt folder, then I converted to TGA to preserve transparencies (any MPQ viewer will do this task). And then I did some photoshop magic: I increased the texture size 6x, then I applied a robust smart sharpening (on the 6x image to create some data), then denoised to remove imperfections, then resized down to the original resolution (1x), and finally, I put the TGA files in the TerrainArt folder along with the original BLP files. Finally, the War3 engine made the magic; it seems it picks TGA files over BLP.
Certainly, you will have a little degradation in performance since War3 is handling 4x higher resolution terrain textures (the TGA files), but the performance drop is minimum and only noticeable when zooming in. I'm on mac and I can play perfectly Rebirth.
I'm planning to do the same with the undead Blight, but the textures are too dark and little can do to create data/enhance the texture.

You need to understand that the War3 engine has limitations. It is a 2003 engine designed for those years requirements (1gb at the most of ram, single core, low res screens, etc) in mind. The engine was updated to be compatible with current OSs, but not that much has been done in that regard. Thus, the issue of low res textures is inherent and you cannot raise the resolution of the models, otherwise, the engine will crash. The engine has a memory budget that needs to comply with (and I don't think the engine can stream textures on-the-fly as current engines. Keep in mind that technology was invented in the Xbox360 era.
If you are talking about the pixelated model issues, play with your setting, reinstall or update to the current version of War3. It can even be a drivers issues. On my end, the game runs fine (on mac) and I don't see why for some people have those issues (i expect more issues on the mac than windows, which seems not to be the case)

Sadly I couldn't do it for unkown reasons
when i installed this mod, the terrain is not completely changed. there are still some old terrain on the edge of the cliffs, and other places that near the high ground. But then i saw a video on youtube, the terrain is correctly changed, there are not some old terrain left. So how did you do that? have i did something wrong with the installing progress or some terrain file is missing?

I noticed it in campaign too but I don't know why it is bugged out, in melee games or custom maps they are alright I fixed them specially back then
