Holy Guard - Like in the rest of the Free Cities, unwanted boys can be sold by Norvoshi families to the bearded priests. This holy guard of slave soldiers enforce obedience and keep the peace of Norvos, and are trained in the use of longaxes. By sixteen, those trained by the bearded priests "wed their axes", swearing vows which are said to be simple for the simple men who swear them: "Serve. Obey. Protect." They are branded across their chest with an axe shape to remind them to keep their longaxes sharp.
Noble Shieldbearers - nobleman's of Norvos are fierce warriors, they like to fight in battle as heavy infantry on the first line.
Neophytes - The bearded priests are religious leaders in the Free City of Norvos and the true rulers of the theocratic city. The bearded priests control a fortress-temple in the upper city, to prove their faith, neophytes should fight in battles with axe and shield, they insipire norvos warriors with singing in battles.
Spearmen - spearman's are professional soldiers of Norvos Army, they serve as city guards in Norvos(except Upper Norvos) and other cities controled from Norvos.
Slave Warriors - in time of need city can recruit slave to the army, if they masters have a surplus funds they can buy a normal equipment for their slaves, they will fight well, but not expect to much from them.
Freedmen Spearmen - freedmens are very big part of Norvos society, slaves can be released by master, or they can buy back themselfs, but after it, they will not be the citizens of Norvos, to have a job, usually they go to serve as city militia.
Shieldbearers - are armed citizens of Norvos who lives on border.
