Remake of the demo for Half-Life that was called Uplink. For those that don't know, when Valve released Half-Life they didn't put out a demo for it that just had a few levels from the game. They made a sort of side story about having to align a dish to get an uplink to a satellite to open a security door. Very little new will be added to this as far as textures, models and such. Whats in Half-Life 2 is all that is needed. This is done mostly because it keeps the download small and everything that is needed is already there.

As you can see I have been working on this little game of mine but you also might be asking yourself “If you 30% done with it months ago, why a shot from the start of the game?” Ill tell you why.

A while back I stop working on this because of (you guess it) Real Life. Then about 2 week ago I started working on it again and went back and played it. Then it hit me that I was keeping to close to what Half-Life Uplink was like. It was tight, small, and to short. What I had done, for those of you that have played Half-Life Uplink, was up to the tower. When I mean done I mean done. The NPC were in place, brush work was done, lighting pretty much were I wanted it and it was ready to go because there was going to be a level change at the tower. Now that I stepped away from it for while and came back and played it, it felt all wrong so I dumped it. Not everything. The start that you see in the video is still pretty much the same and I kept that level. But from were you step outside to the tower I am redoing and that’s why you see the shots from the start.

Now that I am back working on this I will be posting more and hopefully keep people up to date with what’s going on.
