A ton of bug fixes!
Bug fixes include crashes when using the speed buttons, crashes when loading unsaved connections, crashes when getting caught! Also, a lot of scaling issues have been taken into account (You guys are great with finding these!) and there shouldn't be many left!
Do take in mind, that some changes need a new user created, unfortunately.
*Please be aware that the previous save file version may be incompatible, so back it up first.
Installation
Inside the archive you'll find the UplinkOS executable, its resource files and the ReadMe.
In case you're like me and you don't read ReadMes, here's the installation instructions:
- First you'll need the GOG Version of the game. (this version may work on the Humble Bundle version too; haven't tested it)
- After downloading the Mod, unzip it into a place of your choice.
- Go to Uplink's installation folder. In GOG's case, the default is: C:\GOG Games\Uplink
- Copy the contents of the Mod's zip file into this folder.
- Go to the "users" folder. Back-up & move/delete all the files here.
- Now just run UplinkOS.exe and your ready to start hacking!
This is a BETA so you will encounter some bugs that I missed (especially in the later parts of the game where I didn't test as often as I should have). In case you encounter something please make a screenshot and post about it in the BUGS forum.

- Modified the App Menu to open and close only from the TaskBar button
- Added a back button to the InterNIC Browse page and the company Links screen
- Fixed a bug where the hotkeys would not work if you had CapsLock or ScrollLock on
- Fixed the Voice_Analyzer taking ages to complete
- Fixed a bug where the News and BBS screens would not update correctly while viewing them

- Fixed a bug where if you'd log out while having apps open would leave some "App v1.0" items in the Task Manager when logging back in

- Fixed a bug where there would be an Undefined username on the MM
- Removed NPC names that used accents, rendering them unsearchable
- Fixed a crash when using the speed buttons - it was because you were cought! And the disavow screen didn't work.
- Fixed the Disavow/Game Over/TEAM screens

Is there or could there possibly be an option to make the Node Map (the Radar) smaller when its not opened? It basically clips over the buttons where I can Accept Missions/Contact the Employer:

Waaaaa... On what resolution are you playing?
EDIT: Wait, you seem to be running an older version and not this one. Or maybe you haven't overwritten the old files when installing this one. You can tell from the Map button which in v092 is exactly the cube's size.

Ahhh, well, I downloaded UplinkOS yesterday morning, and if this is a new one I've missed the update (although I just noticed this is the GOG release and I got the Steam one).

I enjoyed so much the vanilla game. Now i am enjoying it again thx to you.
Here is a list of some some bug/improvments :
Windows version 0.92
Mail
- deleting (right click) mail require to reload the tab to see it removed. It works with first mail of list (edit: not always) but not with other ones. If you click on visible "deleted" mail again it crash.
Node Map overlay
- using InterNIC to connect to a node not bookmarked keep it visible after disconnection. Would be better to only keep mission node and bookmarked node.
- would be usefull to have a "disconnect" option in it.
Log screen
- deleting high quantity of log (20 approximately) at the same time make game crash
- deleting logs in middle of log screen change scroll top position.
App shortcut
- moving some shortcut can be hard (i think about brute force) cause if you try to drag and drop it using bottom left of icon, game try first to launch the program of icon.
Don't know what i did
but now, opening mission list menu on uplink server always make my game crash with my current save
an other bug :
open Internic search, scroll down in server list, disconnect, your server list will be empty cause scrolltop is keep. To see items, we have to scroll to again.
An other bug :
in Files Manager, start to delete a file, close the window before the file is deleted, open File manager again
file will not be visible but disc space always keep file
logout + login again solve problem (file not present and disc space OK)
When i run this mod, game crashes on run. What do i do wrong?
do you run the new .exe you paste previously in game folder ?
it looks ******* awesome, but some things i noticed which i found a bit annoying:
1. theres no direct disconnect button when in map menu, where you like connect to servers and stuff, you have to close the map and then press disconnect and then go on the map again
2.please add cheat menu like in the first versions of uplink
3.i dont really like the applications much, i'd rather like those 'windowed' applications that like have edges, not those round things

Hi, I love the mod, but I found a problem. I cannot seem to figure out how to get access to the HUD_ConnectionAnalysis window. The Lan View works, but I'm kinda stumped.
