Assume command as the ambitious Hierarchy, the robotic Novus, the mysterious Masari, or the desperate humans in this mod inspired by the game Universe at War by SEGA and Petroglyph. New gameplay mechanics, new units, and an exciting campaign bring the war to life with additional factions to add to the chaos. So what will you do? Conquer, or survive? All models added in this mod are property of SEGA or Petroglyph, used with permission of their respective creators, or were made by the developers of Triumph of the Hierarchy. Permission was recieved from Petroglyph and SEGA prior to the start of work on the mod.

Report RSS Walkers for Production Purposes

I have sent those of Triumph Studios with modeling capabilities a message regarding an idea I've had. Below is information for the rest of you.

Posted by on

I have been looking at models and brainstorming for the implementation of the Hierarchy Walkers for production purposes. This would make the below changes:

Habitat Walker: changed to Purifier, UaW super-unit

Hierarchy Barracks: changed to Habitat Walker, lightly armed production unit available at start

Hierarchy Research Center: changed to Science Walker, lightly armed research unit available at start

Hierarchy Light and Heavy Vehicle Factories: changed to Assembly Walker, moderately armed production unit available with proper research

Hierarchy Command Center: changed to Arrival Site, structure that rebuilds walkers when destroyed and initially builds Assembly Walker and Purifier

Each walker would have hardpoints that could be destroyed to prevent it from producing specific units or upgrades.

Below is a list of what walker would build what.

Habitat Walker:
- Grunts
- Lost Ones (may be added in)
- Brutes
- Purification Mechs (may be removed)

Assembly Walker:
- Glyphcarver
- Defiler
- Phase Tank
- Drone

Science Walker:
- Tech Upgrades 1-3
- Weapons Upgrades 1-3
- Shields Upgrades 1-3
- Armor Upgrades 1-3
- Plasma Storm

For this to take effect, I will need someone who can modify the bones of the Assembly walker and Science walker. I just need an existing rig attached to the current model rig. Further commitment to the mod is not required.
