So far, I have recieved about 15 e-mails regarding problems with the mod crashing when loading it. Here's a quick checklist for those who are having problems:
- Make sure you are installing version v1.16b. It is a full install, and any other installs and patches are not necesary.
- Make sure that all of the files for the mod (except the shortcut) is copied into the root directory.
To make sure it is installed correctly:
- TotalWar folder should be in your root Dawn of War directory.
- totalwar.module should also be in your root Dawn of War directory.
Root directory = where Dawn of War was installed into (eg. C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War)
I hope this helps, and although I don't mind helping people, it saves me lines and lines of typing. ;)
Anyway, another major point I need to cover: I need mod team members. I would like to get some people experienced, or even new to modding onto my team, to help finish Dawn of War, and to help me with the next mod: DoW: Invasion.
