Nice design. Love the vfx too. Not too sure about the sound though.

Sound fx are as alien as the unit should be, I'm assuming only fast units can get past this defense?

not only fast units hehe. it is very inaccurate, so if youre lucky and dont send a huge blob of units youre fine. it all depends on how many of these the enemy has xD
