The v1.3.1 patch fixes a few critical issues that were discovered in v1.3 as well as a bunch of other fixes and balance changes. There's also an updated Concourse screen which now features random animations.
OBSOLETE VERSION: You do NOT need to install this patch separately, you can simply skip to the 1.3.2 patch. The 1.3.1 patch has a critical bug that severely impacts the Reimagined campaign.
This is a release of the 1.3.1 Patch for TFTC. For a full list of changelog notes, please visit this link. The notes and readme are also included in the zip file. We have also updated our installation Tutorial video as well.
Make sure to keep an eye on the Quick Fixes section on our website where we will post updated files for any issues discovered with v1.3.1 until the next patch can be released.
Prerequisites
Before starting the installation, you will need the following:
Step 1: Convert your v1.3 install to XWAU
If you are installing v1.3.1 from a new, clean install of v1.3, then this step can be skipped as by default the game starts from the XWAU version. You can always tell which version of the game is running from the launcher menu as it will show either XWAU, TFTC Classic or TFTC Reimagined. A clean install process is as follows:
Install XWA > XWAU 2020 Mega Patch > TFTC v1.3 > TFTC v1.3.1
If you have already been playing TFTC v1.3, then installing v1.3.1 will not work unless you restore your current v1.3 install to ‘the Light Side’ which is to say swapping it back to XWAU from TFTC Classic or Reimagined.
To change version, simply open the Palpatine Total Converter from the launcher menu, select ‘Convert TFTC’ and then select ‘Restore the Light Side’.

It will take a few seconds and then the process will then be complete. You can then confirm this has worked by loading the launcher again and it should show an XWAU image instead of TFTC.
Step 2: Install the v1.3.1 Patch
With your v1.3 install reverted to XWAU, you can now proceed to install the patch. Make sure you select the correct install path and simply proceed from there. You will be given the option to change your current soundtrack install, but you can simply leave this on the default ‘Remastered Soundtrack’ if you so wish.

Installation should only take a few moments and when complete, you can close the installer window.
Step 3: Convert back to TFTC Classic or Reimagined
After completing the installation, you only need to run the Palpatine Total Converter again and convert back to TFTC Classic or Reimagined and continue your campaign as before.

That's it! You are now ready to play or continue playing the game!

CRITICAL BUG FOUND!: A severe issue has been found that is causing incorrect starship profiles to be loaded from Classic instead of Reimagined, this is causing certain ship types to not shoot properly (if at all) while others have different firepower than expected. We will be working to hotfix this to a 1.3.2 patch as soon as possible. In the meantime, please load the following file into your FlightModels folder and overwrite. This applies to Reimagined only!
