Welcome to the Global defense initiative orbital defense matrix.
Congratulations on your successful upload of the phase proof schematics to Ion cannon control.
We are disseminating the blueprints fleet wide, and soon will be able to recover and upgrade our orbital defenses.
We need you to test functionality, and confirm all systems operating nominally, until we have full control over all our orbital ion canons, at least the 5 in current geosynchronous orbit.
The prototype you just launched is ready for deployment, it must SURVIVE!
Be wary, the Scrin are aware of our efforts, and will stop at nothing to stop us. AS you know, the ion cannon is one of the few weapons that have been proven effective against the Scrin, not to mention the obvious other reasons why we need the ion cannon network.
This mission takes place “IN SPACE!” And your base is on the moon.
You have access to select aircraft, select infantry and spacecraft, such as the Thunderhead, Kodiak, and warden gunship.
You are also able to command, control and use your prototype Ion cannon, as a “unit”
You will face Scrin aircraft and spacecraft.
There IS NO TIBERIUM IN SPACE, SO CONCERVE YOUR FORCES!
Objectives:
- Fly your engineers to each of the 5 orbital ion cannons, and upgrade them, to un phase them.
- BONUS OBJECTIVE: LOSE NO ENGINEERS
- Move an Ion cannon into orbit over the STaRS base for support to help repel the scrin invasion forces coming from the Scrin Tower.
- Find and recover the “project Thor” Satellites
- Uplink ALL satellites to The Columbus space station by syncing through the space command uplink.
