Tiberian Sun: Asset Expansion is just that, an expansion pack that includes new buildings, vehicles, and infantry to spice up anyone's mod or mission set. Every single image asset will be updated to a much better and easily replicated standard to ensure that nothing is out of place. The current goal is to remaster every single asset that was released with Tiberian Sun and its expansion, Firestorm.

TS:AE continues to build momentum and we now have a full head of steam! UNRELATED TRAIN REFERENCE!!!111one.

This news post and news post that are coupled with it will have a new format.
So let's cut through the gristle and get right down to the bone.

First off, those lovable defenders of humanity, the Global Defense Initiative. I've been working on a few up and coming assets that will be released along side the remastered GDI buildings to give their bases a little more lived in look.

These ambient buildings can be whatever you desire, but listed as built underneath. Bear in mind that these are not the finalized images and are subject to change (Read: WIP.)

1. Small Water Tank
2. Large Water Tank
3. Administration Building
4. Small Office
5. Large Office

The idea is that GDI uses modular construction on their buildings. Many of the building elements are taken from the GDI Barracks and Technology Center. Expect hangars, warehouses, and other bigger buildings soon.

In other GDI news, The wall sections, gate, and component tower is complete. As a bonus addition, I have included a preview for a GDI themed version of an observation post/gate house. There will be four to accommodate base entry directions. Next to it is pictured TS:AE's version of the GDI Technology Center. It is, perhaps, the one building in the GDI inventory that needed a major face lift and I felt that these additions to detail will be welcomed.

Not many GDI voxels to account for, but I have been making several more passes over them to ensure higher detail while making them readable. The only GDI vehicle that I have finished this week is the Disruptor, but hopefully it is far more readable and more detailed than the previous version.

That's it for GDI this week, and now we go to those naughty Noddies.

Buildings haven't been started yet. I know, I know, I have given way to much attention to GDI, and hopefully this next week will be the Week of Nod.

However, I have not been lax in the voxel department, and all of the Nod voxels that had been previously done have been redone and they are now set to "redone."

Lastly, we have two new remastered voxels:

BAM! Let me know what you think.

Finally, we have those casualties of crossfire, the Civilians. I haven't been lax in my building duties, but progress remains slow. The Yeo-ca Cola Corporate Offices have been the only remastered real-estate this update, but more love is on its way.

That's it for this week. Stay tuned!

This stuff is great! Love the fact youre taking into account each factions particular architecture and using that as your base for designing more. Awesome work!
