I got some internet problems so i will only be able to upload 2.0 this weekend in a few days :( the version 2.0 is ready tho.(26\12\18)

TheSwanMod made to take the vanilla game of RTW1 and extend it a little bit by not changing too much, also in the same time make it a little harder to win and to bring the game to larger scale, if in the map, the unit selction, the armies and the time it will take you to conquer the whole known world.

TheSwanMod was tested on Very hard Very Hard Difficulty with Huge unit scale( max 240 troops per unit) on Steam version 1.51.

TheSwanMod may get changed a little and get updated version as i keep play myself and see what changes need to be done to make it complete(also feedback from you).

Features list:

-New troops(RTW Units Addon Mod by Yiu_DJC).
- Larger map(Europa 270 map version 8 by Webbird).
- Troops after peasants got no more poor morale.
- All troops now have 2 HP instad of 1(generals got 3) - all archers and throwing weapons troops got range damage increase.
- Slightly new recruitment path in the stable\barracks\archery for most of the factions .
-Added to the barbarian stone wall.
- Added one\two road upgrade to estraen\greek\barbarian.
- Building changes( wall bring happiness and such).
- Slightly more rebels roam the map.
- 3 exprince to all the mercenery troops .
- All factions unlock(except Rebels and Senate).
- Some of the cities on the map have been changed and got a new owners.
- Some of the cities got extra starting troops.
- All recreuitment times reduced to 1.
- All of the factions now will do naval invansions.
-Small Hastati nerf and small Principes buff.
- Mines give more income and some more small changes all around.

-Also notice that the starting locations that shown when you start a new campaign are not what will be in the game, it been changed in game, maybe in the next version i will re-color the faction selection to clarify the factions location.(edit- been done in 2.0)

15\12\18 UPDATE-

Its only been 3 days from the release and 2.0 is on the making, list of 2.0 so far:

  • New units for the barbarians and Archers for Carthage and Spain so far.
  • Small units balance.
  • Fixes for some sprites of troops that cant be seen if you go far out with the camera in the battle.
  • Recruitment path been fixed and changed a little.
  • Some descriptions fixes.
  • And more will be done...

16\12\18 UPDATE-

A new article will be publish tomrrow about the barbarian factions expansion.

18\12\18 UPDATE-

New units been added, romans units cost more now, making them a little slower in taking control of the known world, onager buff(more accurate and more dmg), units stat balance, trader & market now bring more growth and income, fixed\new recruitment path.

26\12\18 UPDATE-

Tho to some internet problems 2.0 will be out in a few days from now, the final 2.0 changes-

New units been added, romans units cost more now, making them a little slower in taking control of the known world, onager buff(more accurate and more dmg), more mercenaries!, Senate missions now bring more money when succed and more turns for missions, diplomacy changes, units stat balance, trader & market now bring more growth and income, fixed\new recruitment path(*Please check the "building browser" when you start a new game cuz there is a new recruitment path!) and many many small changes all around you will find out yourself.
