The Stanley Parable is an experimental narrative-driven first person game. It is an exploration of choice, freedom, storytelling and reality, all examined through the lens of what it means to play a video game. You will make a choice that does not matter You will follow a story that has no end You will play a game you cannot win ...it's actually best if you don't know anything about it before you play it :D

Mod of the Year 2011 voting is open! I'd kinda like it if you voted for stanley parable...

Hey gang, at december rolls around I'm reminded of the craziness that has been 2011. And not an insignificant portion of that is the bizarrely overwhelming response to the Stanley Parable. It's been incredibly humbling (and I say that well aware that the response was probably more to Kevan's sexy voice than to my sexy mapping).

Since ModDB has just opened the voting on their Mod of the Year 2011 awards, I'd encourage you to vote for a game I made! It's called The Stanley Parable! It's a recreation of a harrowing true story of love and survival set against political unrest in ancient Rome in outer space in the future.

Please do vote for Stanley Parable, it would be incredible to see it on the top 100 for 2011. Just go to the game's ModDB page and click on the giant MotY button. Thank you very much for your support this year, and I hope to continue to make interesting games for you in years to come!
