Hi huys its me moleman2009 alright so lets get started our first line up is what were gonna be removing what we are gonna be removing are the race the Forge along with the idea of manpower.
but now for the good news a new race has arisen to our thoughts and the idea is quite nice im hoping that most of you guys have heard of the Beast from HWC they will be infecting the serious mod in the near future the race will also be released as a seperate mod called the Beast Evolution Mod heres a small sneak peak of the beast mothership
fantastic news. But i wonder how you will make the beast infect other ships as far as i know thats coding like impossible in homeworld 2. That's also the reason why the FX mod team took their beast fraction out the mod and replaced it it Bentusi.
Well even if you can't make that the beast infects ships it would be still nice to have em back. I loved the Beast in Cataclysm. Make sure also to use some old Cata style ships. Maybe the Beast stick to some of her first prey ships.
The mothership looks fantastic. I'm glad you're removing the Forge. Every single ship looked itentical to Vaygr or Hiigaran stuff. I know that it supposed to be like that. But it was boring. Why would a 3rd race using tech from 2 other species.
The same goes for the Keeper race. I don't like the Idea of mixed race ships at all. (Beast was a difference) Kadeshi ships + Progenitor ships etc. Maybe you can create some more own shipstyles. That would be much more cooler.
How ever like i said so often. I still like your mod after all. It has great ideas! I'm looking forward for the next release.
