Sorry about the late upload, it failed twice trying to upload directly to moddb. V0.95b is currently being hosted on Mediafire until I can find something better.
If anyone has any problems, please send me the crashlog. You can get this by opening up notepad and pasting right after a crash. I really don't think you'll see any crashes though. If you see any clipping let me know and I'll fix the weapon/Arm.
Whats included in Archive:
Cs:2014 V0.95b - Place Files in "Main Mod" for in your Clear Sky Root directly.
Disable Hud - Simply turns off Dyanmic Hud, just place into your CS root directory.
Performance - just a few performance tweaks. Please backup the "bin" folder first. Included are three files.
Affinity - Use to launch clear sky if you have a quad core processor. Resets the affinity of XrEngine automatically so the game can use all cores.
XR_3da 4GB patcher - Run and select XrEngine if you are using a 64bit OS with more then 4gb of ram.
lua.JIT.1.1.a.dll - update dll for running lua scripts. Its still beta, but its known to drastically improve the performance of Clear Sky.
Last is sweet FX. You can use it if your system can handle it, but its best to test the game out first to check your FPS. Please in the CS root directory.
RS_stats on/off can be typed into the console ingame to get your fps. I can tell you that my system with a E6700 3.2 Dual core, 8gig of ram, and R9270x video card is maintaining 40fps at 1920x1080, directx 10 lighting, and Max settings. Those might very from system to system though considering none of the X-ray engine version are optimized.
What would of been good is if you'd used Absolute Nature 3 for SGM and done some tests with the Clear sky maps and used those maps in this. I did it before with a merge mod for CS, I didn't do enough testing to determine if it was all 100% okay but having maps like the Cordon, Marshes, Dark valley and Army warehouses using the extra variety from additions like the weeping tree was nice.
As I said it needed more testing but it seemed to be okay.
Would love this.
Something to note is the icons need sorting ammo ones are wrong and artifact ones aswell like the Compass and bubble, gauss ammo, ap ammo etc. I spawned a seva suit but can't use artifacts in the available holders either.
Cool, thanks for pointing those out. -equip.dds is kind of a mess right now, I'll fix that stuff up later today. I was so concentrating on getting the stock weapons done that I forgot all have the artifacts.
