In this A Machine for pigs prequel you are playing as Edwin Mandus, an english soldier on a mission to find his brother, Enoch, in the battle of the Somme. It is a narrative focused dark tale with multiple endings. Made for the Frictional Mod Jam 2023 "Horrors of war" Happy 10 year anniversary to The Machine for Pigs!
Very nice concept, decent execution too!
I especially liked the voice cloned engineer and the recreation of the Great Engine involving many bunker assets. You created a nice level with great atmosphere (even managed to give the lamps a yellow-ish hue to bring it even closer to the source material inspiratoin), and you made use of what you created to the fullest possible, hats off on that as well!
I wasn't really a fan of the piping section from a gameplay perspective and a bit more monster interactions would have been a welcome addition as well, but for what you tried to go for this shall suffice.
All in all, really nice work for the time limit, and a worthy unique addition to the modding scene! Liked the improvements and the possibilities on the ending too!
