"Make Peace or Die" “Talon 1-5” is a story-driven single-player and co-op mod that aims to combine realism and combat tactics with a science-fiction environment. It will put players into a war to end all wars where they will have to think in order to survive. Taking inspiration from history as well as imagination, we will strive to tell a story about the infantrymen and women of the early 22nd century and how they must persevere for survival and victory like all the Marines who preceded them. The story centers around an 12-man special forces squad, codenamed “Talon” attached to the 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment of the United States Marine Corps. As our world once again sinks into war, Talon 1-5 becomes part of the Battalion Landing Team for 31st MEU. As a special operations unit, Talon 1-5 are tasked with hunting down and detaining an influential revolutionary leader, as he may hold the key to ending the conflict before them. its very original the smooth shapes that make the rifle are unlike the shapes of rifles today also i may have this wrong but is the handle on the stock the means of removing the clip if so that is an extremely visionary idea but one or maybe to beefs with an almost flawless design 1st the shape that connects the bottom of the trigger grip it dousnt quite fit the smooth and sleek design of the rest of the rifle also the both grips are ergonomically blahn think if you make the trigger grip more supportive of a human hand instead of just a bent shape it would do wonders also the fore grip is to wide and to thin to fit a hand and finally that drum confuses me where does it go and where is the muzzle for the grenade launcher

these are very small details and most of all "opinions" but in general this rifle is an amazing jump in rifle design

Hey ghostfire, thanks for the creative criticism. Always appreciated.

You have some good points, but let me clarify some things. The "grip" in front of the trigger housing group isn't a grip at all, but a stabalizer for the modular components, especially needed for the machinegun and sniper rifle variants. In fact, the Chinese forces have a strange carry stance, where the dumb-hand is placed on top of the magazine at the rear of the weapon. This is not only for easy magazine access, but also because the trigger is far from the buttstock and warrants a different carry stance.

Sorry about the drum, that was just in the render when it was taken. The grenade launcher attachment is not pictured and the magazine is just in the pic. We'll upload another render without it so as not to cause confusion.

The other things you mentioned will be taken into consideration.

Description

The Chinese-made A-90c is a modular variant of the
A-230 common receiver. It has a high rate of fire
and an incredible amount of stopping power,
however, it lacks a certain amount of accuracy
when on fully automatic. Somewhat equivalent to a
future version of the AK-47, the A-90's
coil-propulsion system guarantees that if you do
get hit by one of its rounds, you won't soon
forget it.
