"Make Peace or Die" “Talon 1-5” is a story-driven single-player and co-op mod that aims to combine realism and combat tactics with a science-fiction environment. It will put players into a war to end all wars where they will have to think in order to survive. Modular shotgun, as per request. Its pretty rough, but that's because I did it, hehe.
On a side note, I personally see shotguns and grenade launchers being consolidated into the same catagory in the future. Thus, we call them Multi-Purpose Breaching Rifles, or MPBRs, otherwise known as Breach Guns. Beach guns can fire any kind of 25mm round, from kinetic to buckshot, from HE to smoke, and everything in between, this is one of the most verstaile weapon types on the battlefield.

Now all you're missing is a shotgun variant, which would be possible I suppose, change the barrel to a non-rifled 12-gauge sized one, and add a pump-action system on the front, or even make it automatic or semi-auto.
Ah cool, because for close quarters assaults, sometimes smgs and rifles just don't cut it.
Heck, a pistol equivalent of the mansfield could be used for any sidearms or even a PDW.
