All 8 official space maps now look and feel completely different. I removed background stars which were generated by the game's engine and replaced them with a big texture, so stars on the background now look more realistic. All nebula textures(512x256px) were replaced with new high resolution textures(2048x1024px). And of course all planet textures were replaced with new realistic textures. Other 8 space maps which you can see only in Galactic Conquest have been updated too.
Also all in-game frigates now have better models. Arquitens Cruiser and Corellian Corvette models by ArvisTaljik. GR-75 model by Sereja. Acclamator model from BF3 Legacy assets by El_Fabricio.
Bonus: Rezzed Mos Eisley and Dagobah
For both maps along with the textures, the whole color palette has been changed to a single style.
This is all rezzed maps which you will see in Saga Edition. Hope you will like these changes.

Spiret Mp compatible? Release? I want to play these new space maps!
Of course, MP compatible. May can be some problems with frigates collisions, so I recommend to fly on a little distance from them. I am planning to release the mod next spring.

Can this be played as a traditional space sim? I know for a fact the new BF2 lacks any joystick support. Good work all the same.
