Star Wars Conquest is a Mount&Blade; module which transforms a medieval world into the far, far away galaxy... with the same premises than the original game, this module offers an open sandbox where the player can do anything he wants. Based on a Galactic map and hundreds of planets.
Modelled by Barf, textured and rigged by me...
Took your time geting them in lol looking good :3
Shiny!
My only concern is that these Super Battle droids appear significantly shorter than the other human skeleton types. If I recall from the movies, these models should be quite larger. It aggravates me to see regular battle droids standing over their predecessors.
TFett. Don't you mean to suggest that it aggravates you to see the predecessors standing over the battle droids? Earlier, you said these (battle droids) models should be quite larger. Then, you say that the battle droids' (supposed to be larger) greater height compared to their predecessor (human skeleton types) annoys you. Does this make sense?
I tried to do that, but M&B have an important limitation at skeletons and animations stuff. We can make bigger or shortie races.
But that guys become unreachable, you can't hit them... hopefully it will be fixed in Warband's next patch.
That is the reason why we cannot rig normal sized rancors... :|
But Swyter, I'm sure the armour can be made bigger. Rigging won't look perfect, but it will do like it is now for jawas. You can force a head more or less of height...
You can force the mesh to fit smaller riggings... but the rancor body it's too different from the human skeleton used, the head and arms looks really weird with that kind of forced rig.
See the Warsword mod...it involves replacing the data folder, but Del (the creator) has made giant mechs which you can hit!
I know ¬¬
I programmed a tool named Iron Launcher for make the Data folder "moddable" you can found it in the most part of the mods that use custom skeletons (Revenge of the Berserk, Giants VS Dwarves, etc...)
The problem is that the modified data files would be required for playing the Module... making your M&B installation incompatible with any other mod.
A messing of files... it doesn't worth the effort.
I see. Well, I guess Yoda's statement is right in this situation: "Size matters not"
The first model looks slightly less detailed as say the B2/B3, still an awesome job, and thankyou for adding the droids as a usable force.
can you make them obey you? for the most part they wander around aimlessly until you say charge
Droidekas would be cool! (the little rolling droids with personal shields)
P.S. Sorry about english if there are any mistakes.
I havent fought any droids yet but are they really jedi proof... ill have to start working on my gun :3
